Hi, I'm Amanda

Welcome to movement with Mands. I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m 24 years old and have been living in New York City for the past decade. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in Fall 2025, which deepened my understanding of how the body moves and heals.

Growing up as a dancer and living a really active lifestyle, I put a lot of stress on my body, which eventually led to years of chronic back pain. Finding Pilates completely changed that for me. It not only helped me feel better physically, but also helped me build a deeper connection to my body.

I completed my 10-month classical Pilates certification through Equinox, and since then, I’ve been passionate about sharing that same feeling with others.

I currently teach at Hell’s Kitchen Pilates, a beautiful, intimate studio with just three reformers, so every session feels personal and tailored to you. I also work with Stroma Physical Therapy, where I help support clients through rehabilitation using Pilates-based movement.

Whether you’re dealing with pain, coming back from an injury, or just looking to move with more intention, I’m here to help you feel stronger, more connected, and more at home in your body.

If you’re looking for a teacher who really listens and helps you find what works for your body, you’re in the right place šŸ¤
